E. Dwight Clark

E. Dwight Clark, 86, of Pennington died on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at St Francis Hospice in Trenton. Dwight was born in Meriden, Connecticut on December 4, 1928. Upon graduation from high school he enrolled at Rider College in Trenton and graduated in 1950. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served in Korea. Upon his return from service he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1955 from New York University, Stern School of Business. Dwight began his business career at General Electric Corporation, which led his to upstate New York and later Burlington, Vermont. Dwight took great pride in his many accomplishments at GE, having served on both their domestic and international; Human Resource divisions. Dwight married his lifelong sweetheart, Gloria Joan Saks of Trenton in 1956. In 1967 Dwight, Gloria and their daughter, Susan, celebrated his transfer from Vermont to GE's headquarters in New York City by reuniting with family in the Trenton area and settling in Pennington. Dwight enjoyed participating and contributing his time to local activities in the community. He was a member of the Pennington United Methodist Church, a former member of the Board of Trustees and the Administrative Board, he also played in the Bell Choir He enthusiastically continued his lifelong friendships with other members of Rider College, through his service to the Alumni Board and his college fraternity(Delta Sigma Pi). He was also a member of the Hopewell Valley Country Club Dwight was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gloria, and his brother, Ken, sister-in-law, Georgia Saks Craig and brother-in-law'. Albert Saks. Dwight is survived by his lovely daughter, Susan, of Pennington and his brother, Robert Clark and his wife Suzanna, and sister Katherine and brother-in-law, Roy and family of Ithaca, NY. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Emma K. Saks of Yardley, PA and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carol Saks of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S. Main St., Pennington. Interment will be in Ewing Church Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Blackwell Memorial Home, University, 2083 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 0864821 N. Main St., Pennington, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to Delta Sigma Pi Scholarship Fund, c/o Rider
