We celebrate the life of Andrew Elmer Scherbik, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, who graced our lives from October 30, 1960, until April 30, 2025. Andy was the epitome of kindness and humor. He brightened the days of all who knew him with his knack for cracking corny jokes and his genuine warmth.
Andy was retired after 28 years of service with Smith Stratton Wise Heher and Brennan. Andy had a special fondness for animals, and his gentle spirit made him a beloved companion to many furry friends throughout his life. As we gather to honor his memory, let us reflect on the joy he brought us and the laughter we shared. Andy was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Mary (LaMacchio) Scherbik and his brother Michael Scherbik. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Anna Marie and Kenneth Latham, Cathy Scherbik and Maria Bullaro and Robert and Stacy Scherbik. Andy is also survived by five nephews and one niece and their families, Kevin R. and Shanna Latham (Sierra and Kevin II), Daniel Latham (Jax), Matthew and Meredith Scherbik (Carson, Rowan and Camden), Stefan Scherbik, Zack Skiba and Carly Skiba.
A memorial gathering will take place Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00-2:30PM at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St. Pennington, NJ. A service will be celebrated at 2:30 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Andy desired memorial contribution be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
