Barbara C Petersen

Barbara Ann Caivano Petersen, passed away with her family by her side.

Barbara was born on January 10, 1933, in Jersey City, NJ. She moved as a young girl to Skillman, NJ during the Great Depression. She graduated from Princeton High School and quickly thereafter got a job with Princeton Bank and Trust. Later she went on to Princeton Savings and Loan and then to PNC Bank.

In her later years, she was on the Board of the Hopewell Museum. She was also a volunteer for F.I.S.H (Meals on Wheels) and a member of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church. Barbara also liked gardening and collecting souvenirs, especially with a Christmas theme.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert "Buddy" Petersen and by four siblings; Rudolph, Mary, Joseph, and Robert. She is survived by her only child, devoted son Keith; a sister-in-law Florence Caivano; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by many in the Hopewell community.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 15, in Highland Cemetery at 11:00AM.
