Carol Betty Scheuerlein

Carol Betty Scheuerlein passed away peacefully at Hamilton Continuing Care Center on April 8, 2020 at the age of 96. Born in Brooklyn NY where she met her husband of 73 years, she shared with him a long and happy married life. A loving and supportive mother to 5 children, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren, she blessed them with her common sense wisdom and values, passing on strong family ties and traditions. She loved the beach, ocean waves, playing card and board games with family, and the simple pleasure of an old fashioned cowboy movie or two. Throughout her life she donated her time and energies to family, church and charities. She stood up and spoke up for what was right and on behalf of others less able. Carol is predeceased by her adoring husband Edwin Louis Scheuerlein, her parents Charles and Gizella Endres, her brothers Roger and Charles, and her loving daughter Lynn Suzanne Witthoeft. She is survived by her sister Judy Johnson, and her children Roy Edwin and wife Andrea, Gayle Marie and husband Richard Jarvis, Susan Carol and husband Joseph Zienowicz, Beth Ann, and son-in-law Henry Witthoeft. She was surrounded by a large and loving family all of her life and will be remembered and missed by all.
