Carrie Prater-Smith

Carrie Prater-Smith, 57, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born in Trenton on September 17, 1959 to J.C. and Mary Ann Prater .
She was a graduate of Hopewell Valley High and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ
Carrie lived in Harbourton from the time of her birth until she and her husband moved to Murrells Inlet, SC in June of 2010.
She loved her beach time and flower gardening. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rusty Smith; her mother, Mary Ann Prater Fasulo, a brother Jim Prater, a niece. Kierstin Prater and a godchild, Jessica and her husband Brandon Molin. In addition Carrie is survived by many, many close friends in South Carolina and New Jersey. She is also survived by her two four legged children,( dogs), Lenox and Lilly.
Friends may call at the Gathering Area of St. James Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington on Thursday, September 7 from 10 to 11 a.m., Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Harbourton Cemetery.
