Cynthia Louise Johnson Neely

Cyndy was born September 12^th,  1939 to Leonard Brynolf Johnson and Helen Morris Johnson in North West Pennsylvania  (Smethport).  She is survived by an older brother, Dr. L Morris Johnson and his wife, Anna, of Walnut Creek, California and his two sons Leif and Nils.

Cyndy and L. Mason Neely (Lou) were married October 2nd, 1965.  Three years later, they welcomed their daughter, Kristin Dzurik (husband Steve), followed 18 months later by their second daughter, Ingrid Scott (husband Jason). 

Each daughter has three children, Andrew (married to Emily), Karissa and Megan Dzurik, and Brennan, Jordan and Mason Scott.   Both families live in Lancaster, Pa.  Beyond the six grandchildren there are two great grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Scott (Brennan’s daughters).   Cyndy showed great love for her family and countless friends, as she cared for everyone who crossed her path.

Cyndy graduated from Westminister College, New Wilmington, PA and earned a Master’s Degree from Trenton College of NJ.  She taught school for 8 years before stopping to become a fulltime mother.  At an early age she had a relationship with the Lord Jesus, which was evident in all of her life and relationships.
