Ethan J. Hatke

Pennington. Ethan J. Hatke, 19, of Pennington died suddenly on December 29. He was born in Trenton and had been a resident of Pennington all of his life. Ethan graduated from Hopewell Valley Central High School, Class of 2015 and at the present time was attending Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, where he was majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was an avid swimmer with Eastern Express and his high school team. He was grandson of the late Fred Hatke and he is survived by his parents, Eric and Theresa Hatke of Pennington; his little/younger sister, Emilianne Hatke; his fraternal grandmother, Judith Hatke of Skillman; his great aunt and uncle, Lorie and Frank Moschetti of Remsenburg, NY; his godparents, Gary and Heidi Hatke of Westford, MA, and John and Jennifer Young of Bradley Beach, NJ and his high school sweetheart, Isabella Leon of Hopewell and dear friends, Aunt Penny Pariso and Jan-Michael and Tiana Blakley. Friends and family may call at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 North Main St., Pennington on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private in Pennington Cemetery.
