Gloria M Kandell

Gloria M. Kandell, born April 6 1931, entered into God’s care on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with her loving family by her side at Foothill Acres.

Born in Trenton, Gloria was a lifelong area resident and a former parishioner of St. Raphael’s Church. For 16 years, she proudly assisted her husband, Alfred, in running Tiger Garage in Princeton, NJ. She also enjoyed her time working at the Hamilton K- Mart, where she made many friends and cherished the relationships she built with her coworkers and customers.

She was predeceased by her parents, Primo and Leonilda Salmestrelli, and her beloved husband, Alfred N. Kandell.  Gloria is survived by her four children and their spouses: Linda and Robert Williams, Alfred and Cindy Kandell, Jr., John and Elaine Kandell, and Michael and Aubrey Kandell. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy and were a cherished part of her life.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ 08610. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 1760 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Gloria’s memory.
