Helen Kukon

Helen A. Kukon, 80, of Pennington, New Jersey entered into her eternal rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Helen is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Victoria (Pishla) Slowinski, her husband, John P. Kukon, her brother John Slowinski and her son, James Kukon. She is survived by her sister, Romona Cashes, son John A. Kukon; her daughter-in-law, Vincenza Kukon; and her grandchildren, Jaclyn, Danielle, Gabriella and John Luca. 

Helen was born in Perth Amboy and has resided in Pennington for 59 years. She was a graduate of Helene Fuld College of Nursing and cared for her patients at the Helene Fuld Medical center, where she met her beloved husband as a patient. She was a member of the St. James Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts that included ceramics and scrapbooking. Her favorite pastime was gardening where she spent a lot of time creating a beautiful landscape around her home. Helen was a loving wife, a caring mother and an adoring grandmother who will be deeply missed.

 Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, November 21 at 10:00AM for a viewing which will be held at Saint James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Avenue in Pennington, NJ followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 899 East Lincoln Avenue in Piscataway, NJ. Funeral services are provided by Blackwell funeral home in Pennington NJ. 609-737-2900
