Katherine Gorski

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Katherine A. Pasela Gorski, 81, of Lawrenceville and Beach Haven West, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in 1943, Katherine was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and was a 1961 graduate of Trenton High School. There she was head of Black Cheers, which she proudly spoke of until her passing. In 1965, Kathy married and moved to Lawrenceville, where she and her husband raised their three children.

Kathy was employed by Western Electric until leaving to start her family. After her youngest began school, Kathy worked at Helene Fuld Hospital, later pursuing a career at Lockheed Martin, where she remained until her retirement.

It was a pleasure to be in Kathy's company. Always with a positive attitude and beautiful smile, the family matriarch was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and hosting Christmas Eve open houses, where she and her husband warmly welcomed one and all into their home. Kathy also enjoyed entertaining and spending time at her shore home. Nothing brought her more joy, however, than sharing moments and making memories with her family. Kathy was the heart and soul of her family and will forever be missed.

Kathy was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Jerome A. Gorski, Jr., her parents, Ennis and Katherine Manning Pasela, her son-in-law Todd Galla, her in-laws Jean and Jerome A. Gorski, Sr., and her brother and sister-in-law Gregory and Susan Gorski Danese.

Kathy leaves behind to mourn her loss, her loving and devoted family, whom she was so very proud of; her daughter Denise M. Gorski-Galla, her son Jerome A. Gorski, III, and her son Joseph M. Gorski and his wife Lisa, the "sunshines" of her life, her grandson James Dean Gorski, Jr. and his wife Danielle, and her granddaughters Kathryn Lyn Gorski and Jenna Rose Galla, and her "loves," her great-grandsons, Brayden James and Gavin John Gorski, all of Lawrenceville.

Kathy also leaves behind, her sister Elaine P. Murphy and her dear, life-long friends whom she cherished, Donna-Maria Ratico and Kristine and Raymond Britton, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family.
