Marie DiBenedetto

Marie (Heupel) DiBenedetto, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 21, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of Hamilton Township. Marie was devoted to her family. She was an avid reader and loved to solve the NY Times cross-word puzzles. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish.

Daughter of the late Gilbert and Marie Heupel and wife of the late Mathew DiBenedetto, she was predeceased by her son, Matthew DiBenedetto. Marie is survived by her children, Patricia and Frank Prato of West Alexander, PA., Marie Garcia of Hamilton, Teresa Pachuta of Hamilton, Kathleen and Thomas Stremlo of Chesterfield, Elena Stremlo of Hamilton, Joseph and Kimberly DiBenedetto of North Hanover, David and Colleen DiBenedetto of Borden-town; daughter-in-law, Robin DiBenedetto of Palm Bay, FL; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Private interment will be at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Military Cemetery in North Hanover Township on Friday April 24th. The family will schedule a Mass in her honor at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church at a later date, at that time an invitation will be extended to family and friends to attend.
