Martha (Dusty) W. Mulder, of Newtown, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022.

Born in Plainfield, NJ she was a longtime resident of Pennington, NJ, and most recently Newtown, PA.  She also had a home in North Beach, Long Beach Island, NJ., where she spent summers with her family.

Martha graduated from the College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) where she participated in sports and played the glockenspiel in the school band where she met husband, Harry Mulder, who played trumpet in the band. She received a full scholarship and graduated with honors.

She retired as an elementary teacher from Pennington Grammar School where she taught First grade for over 35 years.  Martha volunteered at Capital Health System and the Pennington library. She was a member of Pennington Presbyterian Church where she played in their bell choir, and previously a member of the Morrisville PA Presbyterian Church where she sang in their choir.  Martha was also a former member of the Mercer County Chorus.  What Martha loved most was spending time with her husband (Harry), three sons and grandchildren. 

Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Martha (Davis) Webster, her brother, William Webster and her husband, Harry Mulder.  She is survived by her three sons, Richard Mulder, David Mulder and his wife Christine and Michael Mulder and his wife Michelle; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Dr. Charles Johnson; sister-in-law, Margaret Webster; and grandchildren, Johanna, John and Connor Mulder.

All services will be held private and at interment.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martha’s name to Pennington Presbyterian Church, 13 South Main St. Pennington, NJ 08534.
