Patricia Ann Smith Hendrickson

Patricia Ann Smith Hendrickson, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at Ann's Choice in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Born February 17, 1934, in Mays Landing, New Jersey, Patricia-known to family and friends as Pat-spent her childhood in Hopewell, New Jersey, first in the Borough of Hopewell and later in Hopewell Township. She earned a Master's degree in Child Education from Penn State and devoted her professional life to nurturing young children as a nursery school teacher at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, where she was also a deeply devoted and active member for many years.

Pat was a gifted crafter whose talents ranged from sewing clothing and making slipcovers to woodworking and decorative arts. She took great pride in decorating the old farmhouse where her family was raised, filling it with antiques and warmth. Above all, she was a devoted caretaker. She lovingly cared for her father, David; her mother, Jean ("Mimi"); and later her husband, Buck, always placing the needs of those she loved before her own.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Daye and her husband, Gilbert; and her son, Furman Hendrickson and his late wife, Nancy.

Pat was predeceased by her father, David L. Smith; her mother, Jean ("Mimi") Smith; and her beloved husband, Furman "Buck" Hendrickson.

Pat will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kindness, her creativity, and her quiet strength. Her life was defined by love of family, service to others, and a deep devotion to her church and community.

Visitation will be held 10:00AM Saturday at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, 80 W. Broad St. Hopewell with a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
