Robert Feaman Prewitt

Robert Feaman Prewitt, 70, of Philadelphia died at his home on Tuesday. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio and had been a resident of Pennington for 37 years before moving to Philadelphia.
Bob graduated with a BA from DePauw University in 1969 and went on to get a MA in Public Policy Management from Stanford University.
His marketing career began in the wine industry in California before moving to Pennington to join his brother, Michael at Dana Communications. Bob was President and CEO of Dana Communications until he retired in 2016. Bob received the Mel Hosansky Award for Distinguished Service from the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) in 2005.
Bob was an avid golfer, an art collector, a “food twin”, a lifelong Steelers fan and a devoted friend, father and grandfather.
Bob served on the Board of Directors at the Hopewell Valley Arts Council and the Hopewell Valley Community Bank. He served as Marketing Counsel for IACC for more than 20 years. He was a founding member of the Society of Wine Education. Bob was the President of the Hopewell Valley School Board from 1992-1999. He served on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Opera Festival and Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association. Bob was a trustee of the Hopewell Valley Foundation, Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation and the Hopewell Valley Hall of Fame Committee.
Son of the late Joseph and Charlotte Feaman Prewitt and brother of the late Michael Prewitt, he is survived by his son Adam Prewitt of Atlanta, GA and three daughters; Sarah Prewitt of Atlanta, GA, Annie Townson (Jeff) of Philadelphia, Jessie Walsh (Matt) of Philadelphia
and two grandchildren, Amelia and Henry Townson and a sister-in-law, Maureen Prewitt of Philadelphia.
Memorial services will be held on Monday March 5 at 11am in the Pennington Presbyterian Church, S. Main St., Pennington. Friends may call on Sunday March 4 from 4-6pm at the Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopewell Valley Arts Counsel or the Philadelphia Public Library.
