Rosemarie (Roe) Nielson, 62, of Lambertville, New Jersey, peacefully entered into the care of her beloved parents and family on July 4th, 2026.Born in Bronx, New York, Rosemarie continued to reside there until moving to Lambertville in August of 2022.Rosemarie attended St. John's University in Queens, New York, where she received a Master's Degree in Education. She worked at St. Theresa's School for over 30 years. Rosemarie enjoyed working with her fellow teachers to bring the passion of education to many students over her career. Her passion and joy to allow children from grades preschool to eighth grade to enjoy school made a lasting impact on thousands of people throughout the years. When at home, Rosemarie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She absolutely loved and enjoyed raising her grandchildren and caring for her dogs. She loved spending her evenings watching videos on her iPad and Chicago TV shows with her husband. Rosemarie is survived by her loving husband, Michael (Mike) Nielson, whom she built a loving family and life with for nearly 45 years. Her daughter, Dr. Rosemarie (Rosie/Roe) Nassiff, who she proudly raised to become a loving wife, mom, and doctor, and her son-in-law, Nicholas Nassiff. Her son, Michael (Mikie) Nielson, who she proudly raised to become a caring son and account executive. Her adored grandkids, Tristan Nassiff, Danya Nassiff, and Layla Nassiff. Her brothers, Joseph (Jojo) Pressimone and his wife Ann Pressimone, and James (Jimmy)Pressimone. Her cousin, Angelo Pessolano and his wife Rosie Pessolano. Her beloved nieces, Catherine Pressimone and Claire Pressimone. Her best of friends, Maria, Annmarie, Donna, Julia, Peg, Teresa, Alex, and Sandra. She will be missed beyond belief and gone way too soon. Locally a memorial gathering will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 9:30-10:45 AM at the St. James Church, Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM.A second memorial mass is also being planned on Sunday, September 27th at 5 PM at Saint Teresa Church in Bronx, New York. September 27th is also her birthday a day to celebrate her life - something she would want everyone to do.
