Obituary for Louise M Klockner

Louise Mary Cope Klockner, 93, passed away on Friday at Sunrise of Lower Makefield, surrounded by her loving family. Born to parents Harlan and Helen West Cope, Louise grew up in Trenton and Titusville. She worked as a telephone operator at NJ Bell, then as a receptionist at General Motors. Beautiful, vivacious, and fun loving, Louise broke many hearts before she met her husband, Donald. They bought a farm in Lawrenceville, where the city girl turned into a farm girl. She continued to work full time and help out on the farm for ten years until she started her family. She was a wonderful, loving mother to her children, Gary and Donna. In later years, after a large part of the farm she loved was sacrificed for the creation of I-95, Louise and Donald started Klockner Nursery Farm. Louise loved to entertain, and opened her home on holidays and special occasions to the delight of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, her son, and her sister Nancy. She is survived by her daughter Donna, son-in-law David Hoeffel, and granddaughters Emily Louise and Claire Helen. Louise is also revered by numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends, who will forever hold her in their hearts. During the last eight months, Louise was attended by many loving care givers at Sunrise of Lower Makefield. Her family is grateful for their devotion to Louise

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street, Lawrenceville.  Burial will be private.
